Hydraulic Crane

Physics help! Surface area and force of a crane?

A Hydraulic crane can expert maximum force of 5000 N on a small piston. If the surface area of the small piston Is 0.20 m² and the surface area for the large piston is 0.50 m², calculate the maximum force that can be used to lift an object placed on the large piston

I believe the pressures on the two pistons are equal at equilibrium. Then
5000N / 0.2m² = F / 0.5m² → F = 12500 N

Oh, wait a minute -- The maximum force that can be used to lift an object placed on the large piston was given as 5000 N. Trick question (or poor wording)?
