Pvc Heater

PVC Conduit Heater Bender usage?

I'm looking at purchasing a Greenlee PVC heater to put subtle but multiple bends into 5-foot sections of PVC. Here's the thing... I've never used one before. A blanket seems to make good economic sense versus the box-type.

My questions: how fast do they heat the conduit? Does it make it "noodly" or do I need to use "elbow grease" to get it to bend? I want to be able to form several 5' lengths in a "session."

What's your personal experience with these devices?

Thank you for your help!

we use the box type when you let it heat up it only takes about a minute for the PVC to get limber its really soft.what you do is get wet rags lay the conduit on the floor after heating bend it into the shape you want and use the rags to cool and fix the position,Its better if you have two people working one to hold and one to cool you won't need elbow grease it'll come out flopping
