Stanley Fat

What is the most reliable laser measurement tool you have or would suggest?

I currently have a Craftsman and I am not very happy with it. It isn't reliable for a Craftsman tool. It's constantly giving me an inaccurate reading. For instance it'll say something is 6 feet away when I know it's more like 15 feet away. I'm thinking of trying a Stanley Fat Max.

I need a good reliable measuring tool to measure both distance and area. I work in the office cleaning industry so I need to be as precise as possible when I'm submitting a bid.

Please only serious responses only.

I have a laser that's precise at distances of over 300 feet. I once measured down the hallway of a building that was 120 feet. I then measured with tape. They were 0.1' accurate within each other.

It costed $1200. It doesn't sound like you want something that pricey, though.
